Job Description \ Location

  • Perform scheduled maintenance for mobile mining equipment, and keep equipment service records
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions and
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and efficiency
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Uses a variety of instruments, tools, and equipment to measure, gauge and determine compliance to dimensional standards and requirements for materials and products
  • Perform data entry into various database systems
  • Develop and provide clear and concise reports to document results and compliance
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

Work Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of underground equipment experience
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Must have 2-3 years of underground equipment experience
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven and motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision but can take direction
  • Strong team player
  • Driven to obtain 100% customer satisfaction

Education \ Certification

  • Must be Licensed heavy duty mechanic

Wages \ Terms of Employment

  • Between $35.00 and $42.00 an hour depending on experience
  • Could lead to permanent
  • Benefits and pension to follow
